As I believe “my” self and “my” world to be real as they appear to be I am imprisoned by the universe of belief. Every person, thing, and condition I experience is a false form and acts falsely. Imprisoned by belief, I consider my mind to be a personal, private domain, and my thoughts to be personal to me, my body to be personal and physical, separate from all other bodies. I consider my home to be mine, different and separate from my neighbor’s, and my money too. I believe it is my responsibility to sustain and protect “my own” and that my success depends on my education, skill, experience, and sometimes luck.
We are entirely stuck in belief and nothing we do within its prison walls will free us from it.
