The freedom of spirit is the escape from the parenthesis of belief that keeps us imprisoned in a mind, body and world of good and bad.

As long as we are imprisoned in belief, we cannot experience truth.

Truth cannot enter belief and belief cannot receive truth.

While we continue to exist in a fog of belief all our efforts to realize truth, and even our feeling of truth within leaves our tangible experience devoid of the evidence of good.
