The Master explained this in the parable of the prodigal son.

If we believe we are different and separate from God — the one, all-of-all infinity of existence as individual being, our belief keeps everything of God, Good, shut from our sense.

Then we experience both good and bad; we are born of belief, we live for a period of years or decades of belief in the hypnotized state of limitation, lack, hardship and pain.

Yet the truth of being is God, the fulfillment of life eternal, life free in and as spirit, infinity, and omnipresence.
