Before I do any- thing — before I eat even a bite, before I commune with my family, before I take a step into the world or go to my business or talk to my client or student — I turn within, become still and silent, and wait for the kingdom of God to come into my awareness; wait until I feel God happening as my being, mind, body, universe and every person and thing in it.
Then I partake of the fresh manna, the new fruit, that comes through as visible and real on the branches of worldly experience.
But I do not partake of the world or its goods until I have experienced the “kingdom of God come.” When I have, I needn’t be surprised as the miracle of God (good) is witnessed filling my world. “As in heaven so on earth.”
