Giving time, attention and interest to one another is a wonderful gift to give. When I speak with you, you are, for the period of time we are speaking together, the only person in my universe. If I have another person, thing or condition on my mind as I am talking with you, my attention is not wholly yours. I would be, in sense and therefore experience, dividing God, dividing my house (my consciousness); and in that state of divided consciousness I cannot experience God, good.
