If it were possible for God to be evident in the human scene, possible for God—the one almighty principle or law—to “come to where we are,” why would the Master plus every other spiritual master in his or her own way, instruct us to abide in truth?

Why would every master warn us that if we do not abide in truth we are like “a branch cut off which withers and is thrown into the fire”—suffering pain, disease, injury, hate, injustice, cruelty, poverty, loneliness, homelessness, famine and even natural disasters side by side with the opposites of these?
