He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

Psalm 91:15-16

Throughout scripture we find no plausible reference, no real explanation as to why humanity lives by belief and suffers so greatly as a consequence. The account of Adam and Eve is a wonderful metaphor, but is in reality implausible. Yet we do find throughout all the scriptures of the world the instruction to lift our awareness “to where God is,” to lift into God consciousness, to fill our minds with the presence and activity of God; to dwell on, ponder and contemplate, to continually abide in the consciousness of God which is the one and the only true existence, and, most importantly, to feel God abiding in us.

It is dwelling in God consciousness, and feeling the presence and activity of God in us that aligns or attunes our sense with truth itself and enables truth to “shine through” and be our experience for us. High up in God consciousness false sense dissolves and true sense becomes known. Belief dissipates, leaving truthful being, mind, body and world as our palpable and visible reality.

High up in God consciousness we can indeed call upon Him and receive His answer; indeed He is with us in trouble, and delivers us from that trouble.

We are satisfied with long life and God’s salvation because we have lifted our consciousness into that which God is and let God live Its life as us.
