I do not ‘do’ anything — ‘I’ is all, and ‘I’ does all. Do you think Moses himself had anything to do with the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea? Was it by his ability, his effort, his doing, even his ‘spiritual’ doing? Of course not. Do you think the feeding of the four and five thousand men — plus women and children too — was anything to do with the man Jesus? Of course not. Jesus himself tells us this: “I of my own self am nothing. . . it is the Father within me that does these works.”
