Where the belief in matter exists within us, the pairs of opposites exist in experience, but where spirit alone exists only spiritual experience exists.

“I am the Lord, and there is none else—there is no God [life, body, truth] besides me.”

Consciousness is the life, and besides consciousness there is none else. Life exists nowhere else and as nothing else. Life does not exist in a form in and of its own self. Life is in, and is itself, consciousness.
