If we sense 8 + 8 as being 15, we must entirely drop that sense instead of attempting to have math ‘fix’ it for us. There is nothing to fix in math, and math certainly cannot fix our poor sense. Equally, there is nothing to heal or harmonize, prosper or pacify in God, and God certainly cannot come to where a problem is sensed and heal it.
