EFFECTIVE V. INEFFECTIVE TREATMENT

There is effective versus ineffective spiritual treatment, just as there is effective versus ineffective medical treatment. Let's understand the difference, beginning with ineffective treatment.
    If we start with that which appears to be (if we start with the apparent problem, what the problem seems to be and where it seems to exist) and then attempt to treat it of its own self, we fail. Our attempt will never work because if we start with anything but God itself, and if we start in anything less than a state of God awareness, then we are starting amiss; we're starting ineffectively, and all we can possibly get is ineffective result. What we are doing leaves no way for the problem to yield.
    What we have to do is start in God awareness or a state of God awareness or God being.
